tips for living a healthy life. Is Your Life Working?

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely
or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where
they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature
and God. Because only then does one feel that all
is as it should be and that God wishes to see people
happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature."

– ANNE FRANK

Sometimes when you think your life is not working it actually is. When you look back at your life you will see that some of your greatest successes grew from your greatest disappointments. Napoleon Hill said that "every disappointment carries with it the seed of an equivalent or greater benefit." You can never say for sure that something is not working and even when you do it is just an uneducated guess anyway. You have no idea how perfect this world and this universe really are.

When you relinquish your need to judge everything as being good or bad, right or wrong you will start to awaken to the perfection of everything in life. Hot cannot exist without cold and happiness cannot exist without sadness. Therefore you should welcome every experience and bless every situation. Your life is exactly the way it should be. You are exactly the way you should be. Whether you say it's working or whether you say it's not, either way you will be right. When you say it, you start to believe your own story and when you believe it, it becomes your experience. That is what feels real and that is what you call "the truth."

Life works with an unfaltering exactitude. Nothing is left to change. You are exactly where you should be as a result of what you chose, either consciously or unconsciously. Instead of blaming yourself you can start to see the beauty of this and start to see that it is in fact perfect – maybe not in it's experience but most definitely in it's conception. What is perfection anyway? Is it not merely a judgement?

When we are caught up in the whirlwind of daily life we tend to look straight past it all. We tend to re-act and almost re-live the same experiences on a daily basis. It is almost as if most people's lives are the re-run of a bad movie and they are forced to watch it every day. Scientist discovered that the human mind thinks more than 65 000 thoughts a day. Amazing, but the problem is that they also found out that more than 90% of those thoughts were exactly the same as yesterday. Your thoughts create your world and if you keep thinking the same old thoughts you will keep having the same old life with the same old feelings.

You have to step out of the mould. Start by developing an awareness of yourself and the perfection of life that runs through you. There isn't some mysterious force that controls your every move. You control your every move. This is such a lazy approach to life. Most people just fail to take proper responsibility for their lives and blame everything on fate or bad luck or, dare I say, "god's will". The truth is that God's will is that you can be and experience anything you want. God is the blank canvas and His greatest gift to us all is this perfect universe that functions not by chance, but by an unfaltering exactitude.

That which you think is not working in your life is actually working. It might not be exactly what you want, but is exactly what you chose. The laws of life and the universe are universal. They do not bend or break. Don't blame your decisions either, for you never know the magnitude of the effect that one simple act or thought or decision can have on your whole life. Maybe you just cannot see it yet.

The simple truth is that your life is always working. The experience might not be the way you want it, but this is a result of  the precise laws of life. When you start to choose happiness over sadness, joy over depression, love over hate, peace over anger, vitality over laziness you start to move into the other side of life, the side where your experience of life matches your conscious desires. From this side you can start to comprehend the power and the perfection that life offers for everything only exists because of it's reciprocal. You have a choice, every minute you are alive, to either look for the good or to look for the bad.
